I am so relieved that after this week I’ll never have to see him again, never see him with her again. It honestly isn’t even that he left me hanging and fell for her so quickly. I see how he treats her and how he looks at her and I know he never cared about me, not like that. That’s what kills me, it was so real for me and for him it was just passing the time. I never really had him but I always had that hope that I might some day. Now he has her and we’re going our separate ways. There are no more chances but that doesn’t even matter because he doesn’t care. I remember little things he said to me in the past and I always want to bring them up but I know those memories got pushed out of his mind to make room for new ones. It’s pointless. I guess he’ll always be my “what if” guy and I just have to live with that.
